02.02.18 | GWA Junior Agency Competition

In cooperation with the Berlin agency, We Do, students of the Bachelor's degree programmes of Marketing Communication, Communication Design, and Film + Motion Design develop a concept for the DAAD.



Together with the Berlin agency, We Do 29 students in the Bachelor's degree programmes of Marketing Communication, Communication Design, and Film + Motion Design are developing a concept for DAAD. After the design akademie berlin hosted the 28th GWA Junior Agency Award in the summer of 2016, the 31st edition of the university competition will take place on February 2nd, 2018 at the Hochschule Düsseldorf. The team is supervised by Prof. Bettina Borchardt and Prof. Ralf Kemmer.

Keep your fingers crossed that our team wins the ninth prize for the design akademie berlin! Our foyer is already decorated with prizes in the following categories: 2 silvers, 3 bronzes, 2 audience prizes and 1 "making of" prize.

About the GWA Junior Agency Award

Since 2002, marketing and design students from various universities have been working for one semester each on communication concepts with partners from advertising agencies. The advertising agency representatives accompany the teams as coaches. Participating students go through all phases of the conception process. From research to strategic planning, brainstorming of creative implementation to a 25-minute pitch on the day of the Junior Agency Award. The jury, consisting of agency managers, marketing experts and journalists, evaluates the presentations and awards the coveted prizes in gold, silver, bronze as well as, the audience prize and the prize for the best making of video. The real-world conditions under which the GWA Junior Agency Award takes place make it Germany's most demanding university competition for marketing communication.
