Study abroad with Erasmus+

Here you will find information about your successful course of study abroad. Please note that the following information relates only to our partnerships in the semester programme.

When and for how long can I study abroad?

For Bachelor’s students, year 2 is the ideal time for a course of study abroad. Year 3 may also Be considered. Master’s students should discuss with their academic leader when would be best for them to study abroad. If you do not wish to go abroad for an entire semester, a summer or winter school would be a great option for you. You’ll be sure to find something that fits in perfectly with your holidays. If you would like to study abroad for two semester, please note:

  • 2 semester stays are not always possible - this depends on the regulations we have with the partner university. Please check with us to see whether your university of choice offers a 2 semester stay.
  • You should begin your semester abroad in the winter semester. This will ensure that your stay remains within the same academic year. If you begin your stay in the summer semester, it may not be possible to extend it.

Where can I study?

Essentially, you can study at any university worldwide. However, we highly recommend you choose one of our partner universities for your international adventure. Why? Because it will save you time, effort and money. We cooperate with a number of universities inside and outside of Europe. Those studying abroad benefit from these partnerships in many ways.

One of the advantages: SRH students do not need to pay any fees to the partner universities with which we have a semester programme partnership (exclusive summer school collaborations). Since the majority of our European partnerships were agreed within the framework of the ERASMUS+ programme, you can also qualify for an ERASMUS+ grant if you study at one of the participating universities.
