Marketing communications are now shaped to a great extent by the recipients. Control processes are becoming more complex because each channel develops its own dynamic - not least in social media. Over the course of four semesters, our students learn how to develop creative campaigns in these conditions, how to set up products as experiences, how to include recipients and how to always ask critical questions and think in new ways. Organizations are faced with the complex task of moderating the diverse and often conflicting demands of customers, employees, investors, politicians and other stakeholders. These demands continue to rise and with them, the need for qualified specialists and managers of communications.
This study profile teaches you comprehensive competencies over the course of three semesters in coordinated modules, in order to give you the skills to carry out the strategic and operational tasks of corporate communication holistically and independently. Students learn to assess media risks and opportunities and to direct public attention, in line with the rules of integrated communication.

Marketing means more than just advertising. To not only serve markets, but to really shape them, a company must develop its creative and innovative strengths. This applies to products, as well as, to communication. Marketing executives should be able to initiate and control the necessary processes and implement the results.
This study profile teaches you comprehensive competencies over the course of three semesters in coordinated modules, in order to understand creative processes and to promote them yourself. You will learn creativity techniques, disruptive development processes and how these can be used in a company.
Your career prospects
In the starkly different marketing industry, there is a great call for graduates with both specialist qualifications in different areas and a solid understanding of marketing communications. Our graduates have both and are therefore very much in demand as specialists and managers.
After your studies, you will be able to work in brand and product management or in advertising and marketing management. In agencies, you will be qualified to be a customer advisor, planner, PR consultant or campaign creative. Other careers are available in consulting, market research agencies, non-profit organisations, associations, political parties and scientific institutions.
After two intense years of standard study, you will receive an internationally recognise “Master of Arts” (MA). The degree meets EU requirements for the Socrates/ECTS programme. This guarantees international recognition of your achievement.
In order to ensure individual coaching of each student, the number of spaces is limited. Our applicants participate in a two-stage selection process which comprises a written admissions test and a personal interview. During the admissions interview, you will be expected to prove your analytical and strategic skills and your motivation to study.
