High potential for the marketing of tomorrow
It used to be able target groups and consumers. Now we talk about prosumers, big data and digital customer journeys. Marketing communication in the digital age is demanding, fast and interesting. On the Master’s course of study, you will develop skills and leadership qualities in order to be able to meet future challenges with solid understanding, relevant strategies and creative solutions. You can find everything you need to know about applications here.
Marketing communication is now shaped and pursued by the recipients. Control processes are becoming more complex because each communication develops its own dynamic - not least in social media. Over the course of four semesters, our students learn how to develop creative campaigns in these conditions, how to set up products as experiences, how to include recipients and how to always ask critical questions and think in new ways. Create brands, products, services and organisational accessories.
In the Master’s course of study in marketing communication, you will acquire the solid theoretical and scientific background for contemporary and holistic strategy development. You learn to develop communication concepts independently and to coordinate creative implementation. With planning games and real assignments, you will be prepared for your entry into work and acquire a personal and professional network for your future.
People with high potential and a wide range of specialist qualifications study with us. The exchange and close cooperation with lecturers in small groups guarantees a productive, inspiring atmosphere and personal support for individuals. It is of great importance to us that you incorporate the skills you developed in your first degree into your studies and put the finishing touches to your professional profile.
Your career prospects
In the starkly different marketing industry, there is great call for graduates with both specialist qualifications in different subjects and a solid understanding of marketing communication. Our graduates contribute both of these contributions and are therefore very much in demand as specialists and managers.
After your studies, you will be able to work in companies, in departments such as brand and product management or in advertising or marketing management. In agencies, you will be able to be employed as a customer advisor, planner, PR consultant or conceptioner. Other careers are available in company consulting, market research agencies, non-profit organisations, associations, political parties and scientific institutions.
After two intense years of standard study, you will receive an internationally recognise “Master of Arts” (MA). The leaving certificate and diploma supplement meet the EU requirements for the Socrates/ECTS programme. This guarantees international recognition of your achievement.
In order to ensure individual coaching of each individual student, the number of student spaces is limited. Our applicants participate in a two-stage selection process which comprises a written admissions test and a personal interview. In the admissions interview, you will be expected to prove your analytical and strategic skills and your motivations for study.
